David recently retired from a role as an Executive Finance Director – leading financial and commercial activities in an international division of Cummins Inc – a $30bn multinational manufacturing and engineering company.
For the last 20 years, David has also served as a non-executive Director in the social housing sector, most recently as Chair of Risk and Audit at Gentoo Homes – a Sunderland-based housing provider.
David is passionate about people development in the organisations in which he has served and has led a number of diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout his career.
David joined the Board in 2023 and Chairs the Finance, Development and Resources Committee.
