Margie joined the Board as an Independent Governor in 2022.
She is a chartered accountant and has previously been Sales Director for Capita’s Government Services division, Northern Regional Director and UK Sales Director for Sodexo’s healthcare business. Prior to this, Margie was a Vice President at BT, where she led the team responsible for major public sector bids and led BT Global Services central government and police business.
She is also Chair of Audit and Risk for North Cumbria Integrated Care Trust, Chair of Trustees at Meadow Well Connected, a community charity in North Tyneside. She is also a Director of North Tyneside Learning Trust.
For the last three years, Margie has worked within the NHS as Transformation Portfolio Director for non-clinical services in the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System, leading collaborative programmes to bring services together and improve how trusts work across the system.
Margie sits on the Finance, Development and Resources Committee.
