Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice

I joined the University in 2012 in the role of Teacher Practitioner for Well Pharmacy, before taking on the role of Senior Lecturer in 2015. I have worked primarily in community pharmacy and managed a busy branch based in a GP surgery for 10 years.

I am the Admissions Tutor for the MPharm programme, and I'm also heavily involved in organising outreach and applicant events for schools and colleges for pharmacy students of the future.

I am also the Academic Lead for professional placements on MPharm and liaise with external stakeholders to organise placement provision for our students.

Teaching and supervision

I teach Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Therapeutics across all four levels of MPharm, concentrating on the Law and Ethics aspects of Level 3 and the Practice components of Level 4.

I oversee placement provision across the MPharm and Pharmaceutical Sciences for the Overseas Pharmacist Assessment Programme.
