Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy

I joined the University of Sunderland as a Senior Lecturer of Clinical Pharmacy in 2021. Prior to this, I worked as a primary care pharmacist and academic tutor at the University of Sunderland. I also have a background in community pharmacy.

I am the module leader for the final year module of the MPharm degree which focuses on applied clinical practice. I am also the diabetes and sustainability lead for MPharm. I continue to work one day per week in primary care as a specialist diabetic pharmacist.

Teaching and supervision

I am the module leader for PHAM01: Applied Practice, Achieving Optimal Clinical Outcomes on (Mpharm) Pharmacy.

I deliver teaching on clinical pharmacy content in level 3 and 4 of the MPharm degree.
I am involved in pharmacy interviews and have personal tutees at all stages of the course and I oversee placements in primary care.
