The Alumni Association exists to celebrate you and your time as a University of Sunderland student. It's here to keep you up to date on the University's news, successes, and future plans. It also gives you the opportunity to stay connected to friends and classmates and hear about any reunions or events.

You'll join our Alumni Association automatically when you graduate. You can update your details at any time.

Request a transcript

From time to time you may need to provide confirmation of your degree. You can request a transcript via the Awards and Verification Portal.

If you graduated from 2004 to present day, you can access your formal qualification and award documentation (certificates, transcripts and verification letters) through the portal. It allows you to share these with prospective employers, recruitment agencies and HE institutions around the world.

We take the fight against fraud and protection of your data very seriously, so the portal uses multi-level security features to produce and verify University of Sunderland documentation.

Trace a friend

If you’d like to organise a reunion or reconnect with an old friend, our Trace a Friend service can help. If your friend is registered with us, we'll reach out to them on your behalf to ask if they’d like to be in touch.

Your privacy is always our priority. Submit a Trace a Friend request, and we’ll guide you through the process.
