Join us for our Open Evening to explore the University's fantastic campus, find out more about our undergraduate Computer Science degrees and chat to our current students and staff.
As well as having the opportunity to find out about our Computer Science courses, you'll also be able to take a tour of our newly installed Games Lab and take part in an engaging taster session - Hack the Planet.
The world today is dominated by “systems”, most of which are either web-based or on your phone. Even big companies are now using web-based systems to run their office applications.
In this interactive session, you will explore how an insider threat (a disgruntled employee) can potentially work their way through a web-based system and illegally access information. In this case, you will be guided through how, due to a badly written system, you are able to steal passwords.
