Student Mental Health Conference

 This is an opportunity to engage with current local and national developments, share best practice, generate new thinking and new initiatives.

Led by the University steering group on student mental health and wellbeing, this keystone event recognises the priority that we place on the wellbeing of our University community. The conference will explore positive approaches to student mental health and provide an opportunity to engage with current  developments, share best practice and generate new thinking.

The varied programme includes contributions from our students, Student's Union and invited external speakers with high profile and reputation in the field of mental health.

This promises to be a timely and insightful event. Staff are strongly encouraged to attend. Places are likely to be in high demand and early booking is recommended.

Please note, for bookings made from 16 October - 23 October your ticket will not include lunch. You should arrive from 12.40pm to register before the conferences begins at 1pm.

Who should attend?

The conference is for University of Sunderland staff and students; academic and support staff from regional HEIs.
