Law: The Trial of Toni Smith Part 2

Home / Events / Event
Law Court

Have you ever wondered what it is like to practice law? Here at the University of Sunderland we are holding a 3-part online taster session series. You will have the opportunity to practice a client interview and take part in a simulated criminal trial! You can choose to take on the role of a judge, barrister, witness or a member of the jury. This opportunity gives you the chance to experience law ‘in practice’, whilst developing your knowledge and understanding of criminal law.

Toni Smith stands accused of a very serious criminal offence, but the big question is, will he be found guilty, or not guilty? Join us for part 2 of our three-part series where we you will interview the accused, build your defence/prosecution case and take part in Toni Smith’s trial. You'll also have the opportunity to chat to our students studying Law and find out more about our LLB (Hons) Law course.

You do not need to have attended part 1 to join in with this session.
