Sociology throws up many fascinating topics for students to debate and study.
Join us as we explore world issues and where "Sociology" is heading - as we also address an ever prevalent question - what can you do with a Sociology degree?
We are delighted to offer you three live talks as part of this event:

Next up, Dr. Wendy Podd, Programme Leader, will be giving a talk titled: Sociology at Work. Explore how a sociology degree relates to the skills, knowledge and experience that employers increasing view as essential, along with some examples from our past graduates and the jobs they do now.
Finally, Drew Dalton, Programme Leader for Inequality and Society MSc, will be giving an talk: Sociology for the 21st century.
This event is open to students in year 12, Year 13, access students and current UG students considering postgraduate study in this area. Teachers and those interested in the topics are also welcome to attend. We are accepting both group bookings from teachers and individual bookings from students.
