Topic - Apprenticeships
Employers and employees are invited to join our online event to explore our teacher apprenticeship routes.
We are pleased to introduce our new three-year route, delivered in addition to our existing PGCE 12-month* Teacher Level 6 Apprenticeship standard.
This event provides a perfect opportunity to explore apprenticeship options for individuals who currently work in primary/secondary school education (such as teaching assistants or higher-level teaching assistants), looking to progress to a teacher role.
The new three-year teacher apprenticeship offers the option to join the second year of the programme for those working as teaching assistants or the full three-year programme for any unqualified teachers/cover supervisors.
Our event will provide a full overview of the new three-year teacher apprenticeship currently offered to primary/secondary education for a mathematics route as well as the PGCE 1-Year route currently offered to individuals who work in primary school education. You will have the opportunity to ask questions to our professional academics about both programmes and their delivery models.
It is also a great forum for school leaders/employers exploring the benefits that apprenticeships can have on developing the teaching workforce, as well as discussing the apprenticeship levy and/or government funding to support Teaching progression through an apprenticeship route.
Our programmes are delivered by expert academics who have a wealth of experience in the educational environment and will support apprentices to engage with teaching and learning theories/practice, helping them to explore how to implement this in their own delivery.
A member of the apprenticeship team will also offer advice on the application and funding process.
We look forward to meeting you online.
