You should arrange your accommodation before you travel to the UK. This will help to reduce any anxiety you have about settling into a new country to live and study.

If you have not managed to arrange permanent accommodation you must at least arrange temporary accommodation to allow you time to search for and secure your room.

You may be able to live initially with a friend or family member. If this is not an option, then you must book a hotel or hostel for a minimum period of five days to give you time to orientate yourself and be able to confidently liaise with landlords or letting agents.
