EU tuition fees
Applicants from EU countries can choose to pay their annual tuition fees either:
- In full as a single payment (deadline: 31 October)
- In instalments in three smaller payments (deadlines: 1 November, 1 February, 1 May).
For students studying at our London Campus, payment schedules may vary depending on the intake.
Other international tuition fees
Most non-EU students will require a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). To receive this, they must pay a non-refundable deposit of £3,500. This amount is credited towards tuition fees, with the remaining balance payable in five equal instalments.
The tuition fee and any scholarship outlined in their offer letter apply per year of study, provided the student maintains satisfactory progress. Scholarships don't apply to repeat years, placement years, or PhD research beyond Year 3.
Where a deposit is required as part of the offer conditions, it must be paid before an unconditional offer and CAS letter can be issued for visa purposes. Students can't register or attend classes until full tuition fees for the academic year have been received.
Sponsored students
Students whose tuition fees are paid by an official sponsorship or covered by a government grant must provide certified evidence of sponsorship, such as an official letter on sponsor's letterhead, before or at the point of registration. Registration can't be completed without this evidence.
If a sponsor is covering only part of the tuition fee, or if sponsorship is withdrawn during the financial year, the student is responsible for paying any outstanding balance.
Scholarships
Some undergraduate and postgraduate international students are eligible for an automatic scholarship. If a student is from an eligible region, the scholarship will be applied without the need to submit a separate application.
International students (both EU and non-EU) may be eligible for a range of other scholarships. For more details, please visit our scholarships and bursaries page.
