Case Study

Tony Walker

Learning Technologist - Study Online

I joined the University in 2012 as an intern providing VLE Support for the Faculty of Applied Sciences with their transition to Sunspace. I continued to provide VLE Support to the faculty for several years before working as Programme Support for the Pharmacy team. Working in both VLE and Programme Support roles has given me a good knowledge of the Canvas/SITS integrations which has been invaluable when problem solving access and module creation issues.

I joined the CELT team in 2020 as a Learning Technologist assigned primarily to the Study Online programmes and deal with all the Blueprint/live module creation and synchronisation, inline with the carousel module of delivery as well as inductions, 1-2-1 and asynchronous tuition to staff working on the Study Online platform.
