A major LEGO event saw excitement build at the University of Sunderland.
Aimed at LEGO fans of all ages, Sunderland Brick Festival took place inside the University's CitySpace building, City Campus, on Saturday (August 9).
The event included building competitions, creative mosaic making rounds, minifigure hunts, a dedicated building area and much more.
There were also traders selling loose bricks, brand new or rare and retired LEGO sets, minifigures, accessories and other LEGO themed items.
Visitors also got to see unique LEGO displays created by master LEGO builders from across the country and were able to chat to them about their latest projects.
