Fostering Equity and Inclusivity in the Workplace is a comprehensive masterclass designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to create safe, affirming, and empowering spaces for all employees, regardless of their background, identity, or experience

Led by Charlotte Feather, Lecturer in Professional Development in the School of Education, this masterclass delves into the nuances of creating inclusive environments and offers practical insights for individuals, organisations, and communities.

What you'll study

During this half-day training, you'll:

  • Understand key concepts related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Discuss unconscious bias in relation to decision-making
  • Explore ways of cultivating inclusive work environments
  • Develop personalised action plans to drive forward EDI initiatives.

How you'll learn

This half-day interactive session will draw on contemporary research, government legislation, and lived-experience to provide a holistic understanding of the moral and legal duties in the workplace.
