Course summary

Infection prevention and control (IPC) is a key part of modern healthcare. It's become even more important since the Covid-19 pandemic. The national infection prevention and control manual (NIPCM) sets out the standards needed to manage and reduce the risk of current and future infections.

We've developed this short course in alignment with the NIPCM. It'll help you gain the knowledge and understanding of some of the core areas in IPC.

You'll study two modules. Each module focuses on a range of topics and assessment will reflect IPC practice.
