AccessAble

We have partnered with AccessAble to provide accessibility for all our staff, students and visitors.

We recognise that everyone's accessibility needs are different and we want to ensure everyone has a positive experience on campus with us.

Who are AccessAble?

AccessAble are the UK’s leading provider of detailed disabled access information. Our partnership has enabled us to create Access Guides to all rooms and shared spaces on the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's and City Campus.

They were set up in 2000 by Dr. Gregory Burke as a result of his own experiences as a wheelchair user and disabled walker.

How can AccessAble support you?

The guides assist you with planning your journey to and around the University buildings, including journeys by metro, bus or road. They also cover everything from parking facilities and hearing loops, to walking distances and accessible toilets.

Our detailed Access Guides can help reduce some of the anxiety and uncertainty that can be present when visiting new places.

You can view our access maps here or download the AccessAble app.
