This course is for business managers, owners, and employees responsible for understanding customers and making marketing decisions within their organisations. It would also be useful for staff working in sales. It is designed to be accessible for people without formal training in consumer behaviour or marketing but who want practical tools to help their business succeed.
In this masterclass, you’ll cover the fundamentals of consumer behaviour, including how customers make purchase decisions, what drives loyalty, and how to identify different customer segments. You’ll also explore practical applications such as customer journey mapping, using consumer insights to shape products and services, and ways to adapt your marketing messages for different audiences.
This course will run for one full day, from 9am to 5pm.

To be eligible to receive this course fully funded, you must be employed by a Sunderland-based business. If you are self-funding, your suitability will be assessed by an academic on completion of the application form.
