The Chaplaincy team provides friendship, support, pastoral care and advice on religious matters to students and staff, regardless of any particular belief or absence of belief.
We promote disability equality and work to eliminate discrimination against our disabled students, staff and others who use or visit the University.
We work closely with a number of external organisations who can provide support in various ways.
The University supports the principle of equal pay for work of equal value. We were one of the first universities to introduce an Equal Pay Policy and we publish annual Equality, Diversity and Social Responsibility reports.
We celebrate a wide range of events from different cultures and beliefs throughout the year.
Staff networks are recognised as being crucial to the promotion of the University’s wider equality and inclusion agenda.
We work to continue to deliver a positive environment for the conduct of all our activities, where all members of our community treat one another with mutual respect and dignity.
