Lecturer in Research Methods

I became a Lecturer in MBA Research Methods at Sunderland Business School in 2023. Before that, I served as a Lecturer specialising in Research Methods at the Cambridge Group of Schools (on campus). Before joining Cambridge, I held the position of Academic Tutor at Teesside University Business School, where I worked from 2021 to 2023.

I earned a doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of West Scotland and an MBA from the University of Greenwich London. Additionally, I possess a BSc (Ed) in Biology from Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto, Nigeria, and a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from the University of Sunderland. 

Before relocating to the UK to further my studies, I worked as a project coordinator with the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, Nigeria.



Teaching and supervision

I am interested in teaching research methods, strategic management, and organisational behaviour. I specialise in fostering critical thinking and scholarly engagement in these areas.

Presently, my instructional focus covers the following modules:

  • MBA Research Methods
  • Placement Project
  • International Business in Context 

Research

I am a multidisciplinary researcher. I have contributed to publications in the field of sustainability and entrepreneurship.
I specialise in supervising research students in the following areas:

  • Strategic management 
  • Organisational behavior
  • Advanced research methodologies 
  • Entrepreneurship 
  • Business ethics
  • Leadership studies 

My commitment is to guide and support students in their academic pursuits.
