Visiting Professor and Entrepreneur in Residence
I am CEO of Stapleton International and hold a Professional Doctorate, Master of Science, and Master of Laws. I have sustained a successful career globally which is acknowledged by the University with the award of an honorary DBA in recognition of my longstanding achievements in the maritime and oil and gas sectors.
I am a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Companion of the Chartered Management Institute. I specialise in the development, improvement, and implementation of management systems. I also hold fellowships with RINA, RSA, and InstLM.
I continue my commitment and dedication to Sunderland in my role as International Ambassador for the city, Visiting Professor, and Entrepreneur in Residence for the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism.
Teaching and supervision
I am actively networking and sourcing national and international SME and company contacts to enrich the Faculty's curriculum, commercial conversions, and applied research impacts.
