Coach/Assessor

I have worked at the University of Sunderland since 2022. I have over 18 years of experience developing careers in retail management, accounting, human resources, apprenticeships, and in the further education sector as a Business Lecturer and Assessor.

I also have experience as a skills coach delivering public sector projects.

Outside of the UK, I have worked in the Middle East on international human resources projects. I am a member of the Society of Education with QTLS status.



Teaching and supervision

Currently, I am a Coach/Assessor for the Senior Leader Apprenticeship programme delivering cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions for Senior Leader apprenticeship students and engaging with employers and apprentices in their SLA progression.

I am a qualified teacher in the lifelong learning sector (QTLS) and assessor (RQF).

Research interests for potential research students

My main research interests are to investigate suitable leadership attributes for handling crises and the financial stability of businesses.
