Senior Technician Digital Arts (Design)
I’ve worked in the design department for over 20 years, supporting staff and students with design-based software and technologies. During this time I’ve seen many changes and it keeps things interesting, and me on my toes.
I assist in the demonstration of equipment pertaining to the delivery of design courses. Things like document binding using various methods, setup, and troubleshooting of software and hardware. In addition, I impart my knowledge of digital workflows and techniques with software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Each year, I part take in the setup of the BA and MA Degree shows with the Design Team.
Teaching and supervision
I support staff and students on the following courses:
- Large format printing
- Digital laser printing
- Apple Mac hardware and operating system
- Digital arts
