Graduate Academic Assistant

After attending the University of Hull as a mature student, and graduating with a BEng in Robotic and Mechatronic Engineering (First Class with Honours), I was offered the post of Graduate Academic Assistant for Engineering here at the University of Sunderland.

Along with my lecturing duties, I am working towards obtaining my PhD in Biologically inspired robotics, researching imitation learning techniques for training robotic quadrupeds.

I also enjoy working with the other robots in the University, such as NAO and Pepper, and wherever possible, constructing my own robot platforms, including a version of OpenDog, an open-source robotic quadruped.
