Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

As a former graduate from the University of Sunderland I went onto become a project engineer, specialising in automation and control. As a project engineer I worked all over the world on a variety of projects including projects in the oil and gas, manufacturing and security sectors.

Teaching and supervision

I am Programme Leader for BEng (Hons) Electronic and Electrical. I am module leader for:

    • ELX218 Electronics
    • ELX304 Electronic Systems
  • ENGM110 Automation and Mechatronics

I also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate project students.
My main areas of expertise are in Automation and Mechatronics including Programmable Logic Controllers and Supervisory Data and Control Acquisition systems.
