Senior Lecturer in English

My main area of interest is in American fiction. I teach modules on 19th Century and contemporary US fiction. I also teach Irish poetry and Shakepeare's drama. I have published a number of articles on US fiction and James Joyce.


Teaching and supervision

I teach American fiction, as well as modules on Drama and Criticism, 18th Century Literature, and Irish Poetry.

Research

  1. My main area of interest is in American fiction, particularly US writers Sara Paretsky and David Markson. I also have interests in Irish fiction and poetry. I have wrote essays and book chapters on James Joyce and at present, I am writing an essay on US author Philip Roth.
