Head of School of Media and Communications

I lead the School of Media and Communications, one of two schools in the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries. My role involves overseeing subject areas across media, journalism, performance, and social media management. I support the staff in delivering excellent learning experiences, world-leading research, and in growing our outstanding links to industry.

Teaching and supervision

I am part of the journalism and public relations team who developed the innovative mediaHUB and facilitated the integration of a BBC news team into that learning space. I also help deliver journalism courses accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) and Professional Publishers Association (PPA).
