Senior Lecturer, OSCE Year 3-5 Lead

I graduated with an MBBS from Newcastle University in 2018. I also intercalated during my degree and graduated with a Master of Medical Education in 2017.

After qualifying in 2018 I completed foundation training and a trust grade year working clinically, before moving to work as a Teaching Fellow in 2021.

I moved from clinical work to an academic role in May 2023 and currently work as part of the assessment team at the University of Sunderland's School of Medicine.

Teaching and supervision

I have previous experience teaching undergraduate medical students from first to final year in a variety of settings and on a range of topics. In my current role, I will be a PBL tutor.

I have a passion for widening access to medicine and entered medical school via a widening access scheme myself.
