Senior Lecturer in Anatomy

I am an anatomist with an interest in translational research and medical education. I have a passion for teaching anatomy and developing new and innovative methods to teach my discipline.

Teaching and supervision

I am a Senior Lecturer in Anatomy. I co-lead on Unit 11 (Phase 1 MBChB) and teach anatomy to students in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing.

I have taught anatomy to Medical, Dental and Health Sciences students in several UK universities.

Research

My recent academic research interests and publications are focused on the anatomy of the cervix and how this relates to pregnancy and preterm birth.

Anatomy pedagogy using cadaveric, non-cadaveric and clinical imaging approaches.

I am a member of several UK anatomical societies.
