Lecturer in Medical Sciences

I am a Lecturer in Medical Sciences and teach students MBChB Medicine. I am also a qualified non-practicing medical doctor. In 2021, I completed my PhD at the University of Sunderland where I focused on studying glioblastoma stem-like cell culture models.

Prior to my PhD, I worked for two years as a casualty medical officer and lecturer at a medical school in the pathology department. Having a clinical background, I am enthusiastic about supporting students in underpinning theoretical knowledge in clinical practice.
