Lecturer in Adult Nursing

I am a Lecturer for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Practice. I qualified as a nurse in 1998 and have since gained experience and skills in a wide variety of clinical environments ranging from surgery, community (acute), emergency care, substance misuse and mental health. My most recent position was an advanced practitioner in a prison.
Although I am a qualified adult nurse I have a particular interest in mental health and the provision of holistic care, as well as public health, and research.

Teaching and supervision

I teach across BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing. I'm aligned to the year 2 practice placement and the year 3 dissertation modules.
