My research focus has been understanding how emotions colour our thoughts and behaviour and also, how we understand and react to other people by observing their non-verbal behaviour (e.g., facial expressions and eye gaze). The human face has become rather central to my research with a more recent focus on prejudice and other biases that influence the impressions we make of other people.
