I have a particular interest in adult law for social workers and mental health. My engagement with the University of Sunderland started in 2001 when I enrolled as a student on a social work course. I have worked in various social work teams over the years and I have enjoyed opportunities to develop my professional skills and knowledge. I qualified as an Approved Mental Health professional in 2012 and a Best Interest Assessor in 2014. I became a Lecturer at the University in 2020.
