Lecturer in Community and Youth Work
I joined the University of Sunderland in 2022 and I teach modules on BA Community and Youth Work Studies, MA Childhood and Youth Studies, and Social Work. I am a placement supervisor and an academic tutor which entails supporting and supervising students while on practice placement and through their university journey, both roles which I thoroughly enjoy.
I am an experienced Community and Youth Work practitioner having worked in both public and voluntary youth work sectors, in management and face-to-face roles. I especially enjoy working with young people and continue to do so in a voluntary capacity for a charitable youth work organisation.
