Programme Leader for BSc (Hons) Physical Education with QTS

My main interests centre around physical education and the health of young people.

Teaching and supervision

I have taught several undergraduate and postgraduate modules. In particular, the majority of my teaching involves delivery of the theoretical and practical subject knowledge for aspiring PE teachers. I also head up the assessment of PE trainees off-site, performing lesson observations and working alongside the center and subject mentors, in schools/colleges.

I have one PhD completion as a Director of Studies, while also supervising master's and undergraduate projects.

My current research interests contribute to promotion and support for adoption and maintenance of a range of health related physical activities in schools.
