My favourite thing about the city of Sunderland is how friendly and warm local people are and the welcoming atmosphere they create when you first arrive. It's a peaceful and quiet place that gives you plenty of opportunities to enjoy your time fully as a student.
My favourite thing about the University is the support the university provides to students – it's outstanding; staff and lecturers are always approachable and ready to help. My course is engaging and well-structured as theory and practice are combined in order to give you a full understanding of the world of tourism and leisure. I love travelling and gaining knowledge about different places."
