A former drama student-turned entrepreneur is now hoping to impress Lord Alan Sugar on the new series of the BBC’s The Apprentice.
Reece Donnelly, who obtained a University of Sunderland BA (Hons) in Drama, will join 17 other candidates on the new season of the competition show when it returns to our screens tomorrow (Thursday 5 January).
Reece, 25, from Glasgow, has been acting since the age of six, appearing in BBC drama Waterloo Road, adverts for S1 Jobs and T-Mobile, as well as a series of Nickelodeon voiceovers. His work as an actor has also seen him do various community drama projects with the organisations, including a stint in Barlinnie Prison in partnership with The Citizens Theatre, and Kibble Secure Centre in partnership with West College Scotland.
In 2017, at the age of 20, Reece founded the Theatre School of Scotland and Theatre College of Scotland in Glasgow city centre – making him the youngest college owner in the UK with many of his students landing roles with big companies like Disney, BBC, CBeebies, CBBC and Netflix.
Reece - who is also the director of children's talent agency, KR Management - made The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards final in 2018.
Reece has a massive following on Instagram, where he shares photos of his nights out, luxury holidays and his theatre school.
