It will depend, usually somewhere between 45 minutes and 80 minutes.

What about parking?

There is plenty of parking at the Stadium of Light which, at the minute, remains free.

What if I am coming on public transport?

The nearest Metro station is either the Stadium of Light or St Peter's depending on which direction you are coming from. There is also a regular bus service between the University and the Stadium.

Where is a good place to get food before/after my ceremony?

Katy Wheeler from the Sunderland Echo has put together a list of restaurants in the city ideal for a pre or post graduation lunch.
