The University of Sunderland’s Bright Sparks STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) club is for children aged 11-16 years. Members of the club get involved in a series of STEAM related free activities that take place on the University campus, and at other locations such as The Centre for Life and Beamish Museum.

Originally launched in 2001, thousands of young people have become engaged with sciences and the arts through the Bright Sparks club.
