Open Day

Hundreds of new students are arriving in Sunderland this weekend to get their first taste of University life.

On Saturday, the University of Sunderland will support, assist, guide and inspire the future generation of students as part of its June 8 Open Day.

Visitors will spend the day meeting your future lecturers, looking around the campuses and getting the lowdown on what financial help and scholarships are available.

What's happening on the day?

Throughout the day students will be able to find out more about the subject s they are most interested in by speaking to academic staff and attending subject specific talks.

They will also go on a tour of University accommodation and look around the campus - both at City and St Peter's.

Students hoping to find out more about costs will also be able to attend talks surrounding student finance and UCAS.

How do I get there?

Students can get to the open day via bus, rail or car and we have free parking available on campus for the event. The postcode for satnav is SR6 0DD.
