Teachers and advisers

We value the crucial role that teachers and advisers play in shaping our future generations. We're committed to supporting your professional development and providing you with opportunities to excel in your roles as career leaders, aspirational advisers, and heads of sixth form.

Through a range of initiatives and cross-faculty collaboration, we hope to empower you to make a positive impact in your institutions.

Your professional development

Working with teachers and advisers, we provide professional development opportunities to help you progress your career, and that of your school and college staffing community. We specifically offer master's degrees in education aimed at teachers and other education professionals: the MA Education and the MA Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion (SEND)

You can explore the full range of our postgraduate degrees online or request a postgraduate prospectus.

Conversion courses

Thinking about a career change? If you hold an undergraduate degree, we may offer a postgraduate conversion course that will help you to make that change. Our conversion courses can also be completed part-time, allowing you to complete a degree while continuing with your employment.

Parents and supporters

Informing parents and supporters about Higher Education is just as important to us as talking to students. We're always happy to attend information sessions to help parents and carers support their children who are considering university.
