The banking and financial industries provide competitive and hugely rewarding career prospects. Through this degree, we directly aim to improve your employability, relevant to the needs of employers in these sector. You'll achieve this by:

  • Developing generic project management skills, including analysing recent projects against key criteria such as risk, design, and control
  • Tackling practical business by drawing on your knowledge of key valuation concepts, tools associated with financial decision-making, and familiarity with foreign exchange rates
  • Applying modern management techniques to banking and financial operations, using insights that are appropriate to the business context.

What you'll study

Undergraduate module credits should total 120 credits per academic year. If optional modules are available alongside core modules on your course, you should choose an amount that totals 120 credits.

How you'll learn

As well as assessments that count towards your degree, your progress will be evaluated by ongoing assessments for feedback and consolidating your learning. Assessment methods include written coursework, projects, presentations, and exams.

Undergraduate fees are set according to rules from Government in line with forecast inflation. The fee for your first year of study for 2026/27 will be £9,535. You'll pay tuition fees for every year of study. Fees may increase every year based on the Retail Price Index.
