Programme Leader/Senior Lecturer in Animation and Games Art

I started lecturing while working in the animation industry where I've worked for over 15 years.

I work predominantly across TV, film, games, and interactive for global brands such as National Geographic, Barclaycard, bet365, Mountain Dew, Trivago, Sony, Nintendo, and Audi to name a few. I specialise in the technical aspects of computer-generated animation.

Since my teaching journey began, I have maintained my links in the creative industry and it is that active and continued practice that I use to inform students of various studio practices and techniques while remaining relevant.

My passion for all things animation and creative has led me to share my skills and experience in education and I love helping students to better understand the creative process and technical aspects of the CG Arena.

When I’m not teaching or working, I like to relax, watch a film or computer-generated animation, and immediately I begin to break down how the animator/s have developed the content.

Teaching and supervision
