Principal Lecturer and Programme Leader Adult Nursing

I am a Principal Lecturer, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Registered Nurse Teacher (RNT) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

My clinical background is in urgent care services. I worked in primary care for ten years as a Nurse Practitioner prior to joining the University in 2018.

I also teach across a variety of modules, specifically clinical skills modules.

Research interests for potential research students

I have an interest in assessment of competence in advanced nursing practice.
