Senior Lecturer/AESiP

I am a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Health Science. My role is Apprenticeship Educator and Supervisor in Practice, working with apprentices in several hospitals across the North of England.

Teaching and supervision

I joined the University in December 2017, following a career in the National Health Service and Royal Air Force. I have previous experience as module leader for Professional Issues in Defence Health Care, Lecturer in Transition to Registered Practitioner and as a Staff Officer in Education and Training within the Defence Medical Services.

I have been Programme Leader for both the Chartered Management Degree and Senior Leader (MBA) Apprenticeships. My primary focus is leadership development of junior personnel and their professional growth within an organisation.

I currently teach on the BSc (Hons) Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship and I am module leader for the module Holistic Adult Nursing in Practice.
