Lecturer in Adult Nursing

I am a Lecturer and Year 1 Lead for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Practice. My background is in primary care and I have worked in this area, both in the NHS and independent sector.

My last role was as a Clinical Training Manager, in a large, independent, national company, prior to joining the University in November 2020.



Teaching and supervision

I am a Lecturer, Year 1 Lead and Personal Tutor for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Practice. I teach across a variety of modules, which include clinical skills, theoretical and virtual learning. I am also an RCN Accredited Learning Representative and very passionate and committed to supporting students to have the best teaching and learning opportunities possible.


Research interests for potential research students

My research interests are specific to teaching and learning, leadership and management, end of life care and acute and chronic pain management.
