Charlotte is the University’s Research Development Manager. She actively identifies research funding opportunities and develops funding proposals. She is also the officer for the University Research and Innovation Committee and analyses, collates, and presents data to inform monitoring of progress against University targets for Research.

Nichola assists the Funding Development Team and actively identifies potential funding opportunities. She develops research proposals, and assists in the analysis of data to inform monitoring of progress against University targets for Research.

Michelle provides support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Academic Director of Research in the promotion and administration of activities to support a vibrant research environment at Sunderland, including the preparation of future Research Excellence Frameworks (REF).

Andrea provides proactive support to enhance the University research environment.  She facilitates research and knowledge exchange communications, organises, and promotes a portfolio of research events, including the University research and knowledge exchange conference, she also supports faculty research committees/groups and the annual research planning process.
