Visit our events page to see the exciting opportunities available for your students. They're designed to give a flavour of what it's like to study at university and showcase some of our fantastic facilities, as well as giving an insight into where university can take you.
We know that time is valuable for students in Years 12 and 13 and you may not be able to make it to specific events. That's why we've developed a series of talks and workshops on a range of topics which you can book at a time to suit you. These can take place at our University or at your school or college.
Individual tours are a chance for students to look around our University campus, see the facilities we have to offer and find out if Sunderland is the place for them. With the option to meet a member of our academic staff, students can find out more about their chosen course and ask any questions they may have about studying with us.
Visits are delivered by our current Student Ambassadors and members of staff in our Home Student Recruitment service who are experts in providing tours of our campuses, including the libraries, social spaces, teaching areas and facilities available for your students' chosen courses.
Our First Choice Progression Scheme aims to equip students with the key skills required to be successful at university, supporting them in their journey towards Higher Education. This programme of support is offered in stages at a time to suit your timetable. Applications to join our First Choice Scheme open in September for students in Year 12.
