First Choice

The University of Sunderland has a proud history of breaking down perceived barriers to higher education and providing the required support to help students with their university transition.

Our First Choice Progression scheme aims to equip students with the key skills required to be successful at university and support them in their journey towards higher education. We work closely with local pupils to help build on vital transferable skills and lay the foundations for a successful university experience.

Information for students

The First Choice progression scheme is a two-year programme of activities provided by the University of Sunderland.
