KS3 Destination Uni

KS3 Destination Uni is for pupils in Years 7-9 and gives them the opportunity to explore Higher Education through a range of presentations, workshops and interactive sessions. These activities are designed to support informed choices while providing an insight into university. They promote teamwork, build confidence and raise aspirations and attainment.

If required, our sessions can be personalised to suit individual school needs. Activities can be tailored to your specific requirements and the sessions can last from 40 minutes to a full day. Each activity is linked to degree subjects and aligned to the National Curriculum, Gatsby Benchmarks, as well as the NERUPI Framework.

Our Destination Uni activities can take place at the University of Sunderland, at your school, or even online.

Due to increased demand, we are currently full and are unfortunately unable to take any further bookings at this time. We are very sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

If we offer a waiting list or any alternative provision, and you would like your school to be considered, please email us at pre16activities@sunderland.ac.uk to let us know and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
